ALL LEVELS OF BOWLING

We’re a very friendly lawn bowling club in Tahunanui, Nelson, catering for all levels of lawn bowling, whether you’re a beginner, social, competitive or even a non-bowling member. We’re happy for you to borrow a set of bowls if you’re a member; casual players pay a small amount per game.

ROLLUPS & TOURNAMENTS

Roll-ups are informal, friendly sessions where everyone who comes or ‘rolls up’ is guaranteed a game.  Usually played over 14 ends or sessions, they provide a good-natured, sociable game of around 2 to 3 hours duration.

We enjoy 3 rollups a week (weather dependent) all year round, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 1pm to around 4.30pm.

   *  Check in a minimum of 15 minutes  beforehand (earlier than that is recommended)  if you wish to play in the rollup.

And we have monthly Tournaments available playing triples –  including a tournament for players with ‘bowling arms’ (a special gadget for people who have difficulty bending down to bowl); check out our tournaments page HERE.

YEAR-ROUND BOWLING

Boasting a grass green as well as an artificial turf green, we’re able to bowl all year round. We’re close to the beach and a short drive from Nelson city,  Stoke or Richmond. Come and check us out!
