Waimea Nurseries- great fun at Bowls Tahunanui!

Waimea Nurseries, the leading producer for fruit, nut, berry and ornamental trees for the consumer market in New Zealand, held a team-building and fun day on Friday, for their staff. Our club venue provided the perfect spot for a large group to have some fun bowling, socialising, and then enjoying cold drinks and a BBQ dinner afterwards. And the weather was absolutely perfect- a great day was had by all, with enthusiastic thanks from the group.

Our thanks too to the Bowls Tahunanui club members who volunteered to help – members were on hand to provide some gentle coaching, and other club members ran the bar and the kitchen, ensuring an enjoyable time was had by all our potential bowlers-!

GRE SERVICES

We were delighted to host GRE Services for an afternoon of fun- lots of laughs, lots of friendly banter- plus of course some bowling, some sun, some nibbles by the bowling green, a friendly bar service, plus a BBQ… great people, great time!

YOUNG PEOPLE OFFERED A VARIETY OF CHALLENGES

We were delighted to host the Inclusive Sports Trust and to introduce their young people to lawn bowling.

Here are just a few photos of the youngsters showing some real style – as well as thoroughly enjoying themselves –after getting some free coaching from coach Brendon Wilson (one of our club’s coaches, who are always ready to offer free coaching).
